Walmart Ads Management

WALMART ADS MANAGEMENT

Make Walmart ad spend work for the products you actually sell.

IZC Media manages Walmart ads for sellers and product brands that want a clear plan for Sponsored Search. We look at item readiness, search terms, bids, budgets, sales, margin, and stock so you know where to spend, what to fix, and what to test next.

Already selling on Amazon? We can discuss how Walmart ads fit alongside your Amazon PPC plan.

THE DIRECT ANSWER

What does a Walmart ads manager actually do?

A manager should do more than launch campaigns and change bids. The work starts with the products and their Walmart listings, then connects targeting, spend, and reported sales to a decision you can use.

For one seller, that may mean stopping waste on search terms that do not convert. For another, it may mean giving an in-stock best seller more room while a weaker item needs price, content, or offer work. We review the account before prescribing a campaign structure.

WHAT WE MANAGE

The work behind a better Walmart ad account.

Sponsored Products are the starting point for many Walmart Marketplace sellers. The right mix depends on your products, eligibility, creative, and goals.

01

Account and item review

Check current campaigns, item eligibility, listing quality, stock, price, margin, and the products you most want to grow.

02

Sponsored Products

Build or improve campaigns around relevant searches and products, with a clear reason for each group of items and its budget.

03

Search terms and bids

Find queries earning more investment, terms consuming budget without enough return, and bids that need a closer look.

04

Budget and product priorities

Put spend behind items that can support it. Adjust when conversion, margin, inventory, or the seller's goals change.

05

Other Sponsored Search formats

Assess Sponsored Brands and Sponsored Videos when the account is eligible, the creative is ready, and the format is included in the agreed scope.

06

Reporting and next actions

Review spend, ad-attributed sales, ROAS, and item-level results with the business context behind them, then agree on the next change.

Walmart Connect sets ad eligibility and product availability. Display, offsite, and in-store media are separate programs and would need their own scope discussion.

SELLER QUESTIONS

The ad report is only part of the answer.

These are the questions we want the account review to answer before adding spend.

  • Are the advertised items ready? Is the item published, available, competitively offered, and converting when shoppers reach it?
  • Which searches deserve budget? Are the search terms relevant, and which ones lead to sales worth their cost?
  • Is the return useful after costs? Does reported ROAS still make sense after product cost, marketplace fees, and fulfillment?
  • What should happen next? Should we change a bid, move budget, improve the item page, or wait for stock?

HOW WE WORK

Review the account. Set priorities. Manage and explain the work.

01

Understand

Learn the catalog, current campaigns, margins, inventory, and what Walmart should contribute to the business.

02

Prioritize

Separate immediate waste from item-page issues, eligibility constraints, and tests that need a defined budget.

03

Manage

Build or adjust campaigns, search terms, bids, and budgets while protecting productive demand.

04

Explain

Report what changed, what happened, what remains uncertain, and what we recommend next.

WHY WORK WITH IZC MEDIA

Know who owns the account and why a change was made.

IZC Media is a Brooklyn-based advertising agency built around hands-on marketplace account work. For a Walmart engagement, we establish a primary point of contact, a clear campaign scope, and a reporting rhythm before the work begins.

  • Direct answers: Discuss the items, spend, and decisions with the person accountable for the account.
  • Account-specific work: Set priorities from your products and data rather than applying an Amazon campaign template to Walmart.
  • Visible next steps: Know what changed, what the results suggest, and what needs your input.

AMAZON + WALMART

Selling on both marketplaces? Give each one its own plan.

IZC Media is known for Amazon PPC, and we also manage Walmart ads. A strong Amazon search term is a useful clue, not an automatic Walmart campaign. Listings, competition, prices, conversion, inventory, and reporting can differ.

We look at what each marketplace is doing for the product, then discuss how the ad budgets should work together.

WHO THIS SERVICE FITS

A useful fit when Walmart ads need an owner and a plan.

This service is built for sellers or product brands with Walmart Marketplace items ready to advertise, or a clear plan to make them ready. It helps when ad spend is meaningful enough to manage actively and the business can share product costs, stock, and priorities.

If the item is unpublished, unavailable, or struggling to convert, we will discuss that constraint before recommending more ad spend. We do not promise that PPC alone can solve an item or offer problem.

WALMART ADS FAQ

Questions sellers ask before handing over the account.

Which Walmart ad formats can be part of the plan?

We begin with the Sponsored Search work relevant to your account, especially Sponsored Products. Sponsored Brands and Sponsored Videos can be assessed when Walmart's eligibility rules, available creative, and our agreed scope support them. Broader media programs are discussed separately.

What if my products are not eligible to advertise?

We identify the item or account issue first. Walmart says Sponsored Products items must be published, in stock, and winning the Buy Box to be selected. Eligibility for brand and video formats has additional requirements. Ads should not be sold as a workaround for an ineligible item.

Will you use the same keywords and ACoS target as our Amazon account?

No. Amazon data can suggest questions to investigate, but Walmart has its own shoppers, item pages, auction, and reporting. We evaluate Walmart search terms and ROAS against the product's margin and Walmart goals.

How much should we spend on Walmart ads?

The budget depends on item readiness, margin, sales history, inventory, and the test or growth goal. We discuss a spending limit and review point before increasing investment. There is no universal minimum or guaranteed return in this page.

What will reporting show?

We review the ad metrics available for the account, including spend, ad-attributed sales, ROAS, and item or campaign performance, then explain the product and business context. We agree on the reporting rhythm and decision owner during onboarding.
